JOINT MINISTRIES

BAPTIST WOMEN

Many of our churches have women’s programs where women meet once a week or on a monthly basis. Baptist Women organizes a “Spring rally” every year, where women from all over the province come together to spend a day having fellowship. We have our yearly “Fall retreat”.

BAPTIST MEN

Each year Baptist Men from the Ottawa Area gather in early September for a weekend of renewal.

The event is held at beautiful Galilee Bible Camp near Renfrew. The men enjoy delicious food, times of prayer, worship, relaxation, and inspiring quest speakers.

MINISTRY FINANCIAL SUPPORT

NEW VENTURES

New ministry ventures receive financial support through the OBA.

CHAPLAINCY

THE OBA supports the Carleton University Chaplaincy, the Algonquin College Chaplaincy, and the Chaplaincy program for Secondary Schools.

STUDENT AID

The OBA provides grants to full time students enrolled in Bible College or Seminary programs.

CHURCH PLANTING

The OBA in recent years has planted Bilberry Creek Baptist in Orleans, and Longfield’s Community Church in the Longfield’s subdivision of Ottawa.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Young people from the Ottawa area periodically gather together to enjoy each others company and encourage one another in their faith.
